Spirobank II combines a spirometer and oximeter in one single device. It uses a special, disposable turbine flowmeter for single-patient use. Each flowmeter is individually tested and packed to ensure optimum hygiene and accuracy. A reusable digital turbine is also available. The device has a memory capacity for up to 6000 spirometry tests or 40 days of oximetry recording, and has an extensive connectivity capability for data transmission via Bluetooth, USB, RS232 and acoustic coupling (for telemedical applications). The patient can be identified by name, ID code, birth date and anthropometric data. An oximetry option for walking test (6MWT) or long-term SpO2 and overnight HR measurements is also available. Supplied with WinspiroPRO software to enable PC on-line test with real-time SpO2 and HR profile, statistical analysis for assessing de-saturation events, sleep apnoea detection with Delta Index, ODI, NOD, T90%, T89% and T88% calculation.
